How to count days between dates correctly
A plain date difference excludes one end: from 1 to 10 March is 9 days. Contracts, hotel stays and travel limits often count both dates inclusively, which gives 10 days. Tick the checkbox when you need that.
Legal deadlines follow their own rules, usually starting the day after the event and moving to the next business day if the last day falls on a weekend.
